Hundreds of jobs available at job fair in Wimauma on Friday, October 18

WIMAUMA, Fla (October 4, 2019) –  The Wimauma Community Development Corporation and Enterprising Latinas will be hosting a job far at the Wimauma Community Church of God Fellowship Hall on Friday, October 18. The job fair will run from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Admission and parking are both free.

Participating companies are looking to fill hundreds of openings for both full- and part-time jobs in Hillsborough County’s fastest growing Southshore area.  Job seekers will be able to meet one-on-one with recruiters and hiring managers from a variety of participating companies and organizations:

  • Hillsborough County Schools
  • S. Census
  • Spectrum
  • South Bay Hospital
  • Hispanic Services Council
  • Aston Gardens
  • Child Care Careers
  • L & M Endeavors, LLC
  • Bamboo Bambino

Job seekers are asked to bring several copies of their resume. Career Source Tampa Bay will be on hand to discuss career training opportunities for teens and adults as well.

“Helping connect Wimauma community members with well-paying job opportunities that also stimulate the local economy is a key focus area for us,” stated Manuel Ayala, executive director of the Wimauma Community Development Corporation. “There’s quite a few positions that will provide stepping stones to excellent future careers.”
